IPL auction 2021: Arjun Tendulkar and S Sreesanth ready for auction, Joe Root and Mitchell Starc out


Chennai: The list of players who have registered privately for IPL Auction 2021 (IPL Auction 2021) has been released. 814 players from India and 283 players from overseas have registered themselves. The list includes 56 players from the West Indies, 42 from Australia and 38 from South Africa.

No Root and Starc in the list

England’s Test captain Joe Root and Australian fast bowler Mitchell Starc have decided not to appear in the IPL auction to be held on 18 February.

Pattinson will also be out

James Pattinson, who played an important role in the victory of Mumbai Indians last year, is one of the important players living outside.

Shakib Al Hasan to return

Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan is in the list of 1097 players who have registered. He has been a part of Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad team.

Sreesanth will also try luck

38-year-old S Sreesanth, who faced a long ban for spot-fixing, has also given his name for auction. He has played for Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) team. They have kept their base price of Rs 75 lakh.

Junior Tendulkar also in the field

Arjun Tendulkar, son of legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, has also got himself registered for the auction. He has kept his base price of 20 lakh rupees.

Harbhajan’s base price is 2 Crore

Harbhajan Singh, Kedar Jadhav, Steven Smith, Glenn Maxwell, Moin Ali, Sam Billings, Jason Roy, Mark Wood, Liam Plunkett and Colin Ingram have all kept their base prices at Rs 2 crore.
