New Delhi: Chennai Super Kings (CSK) veteran off-spinner Harbhajan Singh may join the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Reach team in the first week of September. Harbhajan could not participate in the team’s camp in Chennai due to personal reasons and due to this, he could not reach UAE with the team on 21 August.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Chennai Super Kings team Kasi Vishwanathan has said that ‘Harbhajan is expected to visit Dubai in the first week of September.’ He was scheduled to join the team on Tuesday, but he is still with his family.

13 members of the Chennai team were found to be Coronavirus positive, of which 2 Indian players are also involved. After this, the team’s practice session has moved forward. Till now Chennai is the only team that has not started practice in UAE for the 13th season of IPL.

On September 1, 13 corona-infected members of Chennai were re-tested, whose report has been negative. Once the quarantine period is over, Deepak Chahar and Ruturaj Gaikwad will be able to start their training.
