New Delhi: Only 22 days are left for the Indian Premier League 2020 (IPL 2020) to start in the UAE and 12 members of the Chennai Super Kings team (CSK) have been found positive in the Coronavirus test before that. They also include players and support staff. According to sources, after the players and support staff were found to be Corona virus-positive, the team of Chennai Super Kings has been asked to go to the Quarantine again.

Sources said, ‘A total of 12 members have been found to be corona virus-positive and the entire team has been instructed to go to the quarantine again. It is believed that he was infected during the camp in Chennai. However, Chennai Super Kings officials and BCCI have refused to confirm the incident.’

Another source related to the case says that fast bowler Deepak Chahar has been found to be Corona positive. It is also being told that the infection has spread only after the team reaches Dubai. This is why the team has been quarantined for an additional week. Let us tell you that the CSK team reached Dubai on 21 August itself. The team’s first match is to be held on 19 September.

The team of Chennai Super Kings reached Dubai on 21 August and after completing the 6-day quarantine period, the team started their training. The 13th season of the IPL is scheduled to begin on September 19, but the BCCI has not yet released the schedule of the matches.
