New Delhi: In the second T20 International match of the series played between England and Pakistan, the host team has won by 5 wickets. With this victory, England team has now gone ahead with 1-0 in this 3 T20 International Series. The target of 196 runs given by Pakistan in 20 overs was achieved by the England team in 19.1 overs with the help of skipper Eoin Morgan 66 and David Malan’s unbeaten 54 runs.

Babar Azam and Mohammad Hafeez lead Pakistan team to a big score
Earlier, after losing the toss, Pakistan team started to bat first and Pakistan captain Babar Azam together with opener Fakhar Zaman added 72 runs in 8.3 overs for the first wicket. After this, Mohammad Hafeez, one of the most experienced players of Babar and Pakistan team, led the Pakistani team in a blustery manner. Both of them kept the run pace in the middle, and Pakistan’s score reached 100 runs after 11 overs.

During this time, Babar Azam continued his excellent form and played brilliant innings of 56 runs in 44 balls. After Babar was dismissed, Mohammad Hafeez held one end and before he was dismissed in the last over, he played brilliant innings of 69 runs with the help of 5 fours and 4 sixes in a quick 36 ball. Due to which the Pakistan score reached 195 runs for 4 wickets in 20 overs.

Morgan-Malan led England to victory
Chasing a big target of 196 runs, England got off to a blistering start by opener Johnny Bairstow 44 (24) and Tom Banton 20 (16), bringing the team’s score to 50 in 5 overs. But in the 7th over of England’s innings, Pakistan bowler Shadab Khan made these two runs in 2 consecutive balls. So there was now England captain Eoin Morgan Morgan and David Malan. The pair of Morgan and Malan shared a brisk 112-run partnership for 56 balls for the fourth wicket, excluding Pakistan from the match.

During this time, Morgan and Malan completed their respective Fifty. On the one hand, Eoin Morgan scored 66 runs in 33 balls with the help of 6 fours and 4 sixes. So on the other hand, David Malan scored 54 runs with the help of 6 fours and 1 six, unbeaten in 36 balls, and finally, England with a winning shot put England to a score of 199 in 19.1 overs. Due to which England won this match by 5 wickets.
