New Delhi: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) said on Monday that it will assist in fighting the Corona epidemic, under which the board will donate 2000 litres of oxygen to 10 litres. The country is currently affected by the second wave of Corona due to which the demand for oxygen and other medical equipment has increased. In the next few months, the Indian Cricket Board will distribute oxygen concentrators across the country to make them available to the needy.
People will get immediate relief
BCCI President Saurav Ganguly said, “The board is aware of the important role medical and health workers are playing in the war on this epidemic.” These people are true frontline workers and are doing everything possible to save the people. The board has always made health and safety a top priority. Oxygen concentrators will provide immediate relief to the people and help the patient recover. ‘
It’s time to shake shoulder to shoulder
BCCI Secretary Jai Shah said, “We have to walk shoulder to shoulder against this virus. The BCCI knows how much medical equipment is needed at this time and we hope that this will fulfil its demand across the country. We all have suffered a lot due to this pandemic but there has been some relief from the vaccine. I appeal to everyone to take the vaccine. ”BCCI is the richest cricket board in the world and as per the balance sheet of 2018-18, its total income was Rs 14,489.80 crore.
