New Delhi: Shri Krishna Janmashtami falls on the eighth day of Krishna Paksha in the month of Bhadrapada. People keep fast on this day and worship Lord Krishna. But along with the fast, there are some special things in the puja which Kanhaiya will be happy to include and you will get their blessings.
-Morpunkha (Peacock Feather) is a decoration of Lord Krishna. Since the peacock feathers are very dear to Lord Krishna, he should definitely offer peacock feathers on the day of Janmashtami.
-The flute is like this. Krishna is incomplete without a flute. On the day of Janmashtami, offer flute to the Lord at the time of worship.
On the day of Janmashtami, bring a small statue of cow or calf to the house. Anoint Lord Krishna with milk in a conch shell. Also, keep flowers in worship.
