Shirdi: The temple of Shirdi Sai Baba of Shirdi has been closed for almost one and a half months in the coronavirus period, despite the devotion of Sai’s devotees has not diminished. According to the information, from 18 March 2020 to 25 April 2020, devotees of Baba have donated 1 crore 90 lakh 70 thousand 754 rupees online. In this time of lockdown, 5 lakh devotees have visited Baba online through Sai Institute’s website and mobile app.

Let us know that the Shirdi Sai temple was closed on 17 March for the purpose of preventing the corona infection. It is being told that in the year 2019, there has been a decrease in the number of visitors to Baba from 18 March to 25 April. But the number of devotees visiting through the mobile app has increased.

The trustee of the temple, Dr Rajendra Singh said that despite the closure of Shirdi Sai temple, there has been no decrease in offerings. In the lockdown this year, from March 18, 2020, to April 25, online donations of Rs 1 crore 90 lakh 70 thousand 754 have been made. Which is more than the donations made at the same time last year.
