How is the nature of Goddess Maa Kalratri?
According to the Goddess Bhagwat Purana (Bhagwat Puran), the body of Maa Kalratri is black like darkness, the hair of the head is scattered, there is a garland shining like lightning in the neck. Mother has three eyes which are absolutely round and huge like the universe. The mother has four arms, in which she holds a sword in one hand, an iron weapon in the other, the third hand in Abhaya Mudra and a fourth in Vermudra. Maa Kalratri’s vehicle is a thunder. It is believed that the mother saves her devotees from premature death in this form.
Importance of worshipping Maa Kalratri
This form of Maa Kalratri may be terrible to see, but it is a goddess who always gives auspicious results, hence the mother is called Shubhankari. Devotees need not be afraid of this form of the mother. This form of the mother provides Riddhi-Siddhi. Worshipping Maa Kalratri removes all the crises in life, any kind of fear and mental stress is also removed, as well as negative energy is also destroyed. Worship and enjoyment of Maa Kalratri
Mother Kalratri is worshipped on the seventh day of Chaitra Navratri, but during this time, when you meditate on the mother, do it with all your heart and follow all the sattvic rules. Although Maa Kalratri is worshipped like other goddesses, the mother is worshipped in the night time also, which results in a special fruit. After morning bath etc., worship Goddess with Ganga water, Gandha, Roli, Akshat, Panchamrit. Offer them jaggery flowers. After the Kalash Pujan, lit a lamp in front of the mother and worship, perform aarti, and chant the mantras of Maa Kalratri.
Gur is the favourite bhog of Kalratri, so offer jaggery to your mother. Jaggery is said to have special significance on this day, so donate jaggery to a Brahmin.
