How to do Kalasha Sthapana Vidhi
On this day, wake up early in the morning and bathe in a clean cloth. After this clean the temple thoroughly and make a wooden plinth. Spread a cloth of red or white colour on the floor. Put rice on the cloth and sow the barley in a clay pot. Place the Kalash of water on this vessel. Make a swastika and tie Kalava on this Kalash. Do add supari (Areca nut), coin and Akshat in the Kalash. Place Ashoka leaves on the Kalash. Also, wrap a coconut wrapped with chunari and tie it to Kalava. Then invoke Maa Durga and worship the Kalash by lighting a lamp.
