New Delhi: The meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has created a huge political controversy. CM Mamata has given a clarification on this matter on Saturday. Mamata Banerjee said that she did not make the Prime Minister wait, but she had to wait to meet him himself. However, during this time, he alleged that there was a plan to let him down in the meeting.

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said that she is also ready to touch the Prime Minister’s feet for the betterment of the public and to pacify their importance. During this, Mamata Banerjee also requested the Center to stop the Delhi transfer of West Bengal Chief Secretary Alapan Bandopadhyay. He said that no such step should be taken, which insults the bureaucrats of the country. On arriving late in the meeting, Mamata Banerjee said that when we arrived to attend the meeting, we were told that the meeting is going on and the Prime Minister has also arrived some time ago. Mamata Banerjee further said that when she wanted to go to the meeting, she was stopped by saying that no one could go in for an hour.

Party spokesperson Kunal Ghosh said, “There is no room for any kind of controversy. It was a meeting between the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister. The Chief Minister met the Prime Minister and handed him the details of the damage caused by the storm. The case ends is.”
