Former Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has started efforts to find solutions to three agricultural laws. On Thursday, he will meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi to end the ongoing agitation against the laws. During this, agricultural experts and some farmers of Punjab will also be present with him.

The captain has said that he can find a solution for this. Till now there have been four incomplete meetings of farmer leaders with the Center but behind the scenes talks are going on between the two. While talking to reporters at a hotel in Chandigarh on Tuesday, the former Chief Minister disclosed that there can be no pre-determined formula to resolve the farmers’ agitation, something will come up during the talks.

He said that both the central government and farmers now want a solution to the crisis arising out of agricultural laws. He made it clear that he has not yet met any farmer leader in the matter. The reason behind this is that the farmers do not want any politician to be involved in their movement. Former Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh had earlier also held talks with Union Home Minister Amit Shah regarding the farmers’ agitation.
