Kolkata: Many Indian players, including legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar and world badminton champion PV Sindhu, gave a message to stay fit through yoga on Sunday on the occasion of the sixth International Yoga Day. Sachin has posted a photo on social media while doing yoga with his son Arjun and daughter Sara on Father’s Day. He wrote on Twitter, ‘celebrating Father’s Day by doing yoga together’.
Sindhu said, ‘Yoga has been with us since unknown times and is one of the most effective health practices. Start a healthy life and pledge this happiness.
Former opener Virender Sehwag shared a video while doing yoga. He wrote in the caption, ‘It may take some time, but it will be from Yoga only.’
Harbhajan Singh shared a picture while doing yoga with wife Geeta Basra and daughter Hinaya Heer. Geeta shared a video. He said, ‘Yoga is life’.
Former batsman VVS Laxman said, ‘Yoga goes beyond the mat. If you do anything with meditation, you will feel that you are doing yoga.
