Hathras: The UP SIT team has reached Hathras to investigate the Hathras Gangrape Case which is shaking the country. This three-member team also includes Dalit women officers. SIT will report in seven days
The SIT has to submit its report within 7 days. Considering the seriousness of the situation, the UP government formed a three-member Special Investigation Team (SIT) headed by the Home Secretary to investigate. To ensure speedy justice, the case will be conducted in a fast track court. At the same time, a petition related to this case can be heard in the Allahabad High Court today.
PM Modi spoke to CM Yogi
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also spoke to UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and asked him to take drastic action against the culprits. Earlier, Adityanath spoke to the victim’s father through video conferencing. Chief Minister Yogi has announced 25 lakh compensation to the victim’s family.
Nirbhaya’s lawyer will get justice
At the same time, there is news that Seema Kushwaha, a lawyer who helped Hathras victim’s case ‘Nirbhaya’, will fight the case. According to sources, Seema can go to Hathras and meet the victim’s family today. Due to the efforts of Seema Kushwaha in Delhi’s Nirbhaya incident, the culprits were punished. Opposition leaders targeted CM Yogi
Politics has also started regarding this whole matter. Congress President Sonia Gandhi has raised questions on the Yogi government. He has said that the law and order in UP have crumbled badly. Congress National General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has alleged that the victim’s family could not perform the last rites. This is the biggest example of inhumanity. Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav expressed grief over the incident of Hathras and said that there is Jungle Raj in Hathras. At the same time, AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi also questioned the Yogi government and said that CM Yogi should apologize.
On September 14, a 19-year-old Dalit girl was gang-raped in a village in Chandpa police station area of Hathras district of Uttar Pradesh. Police arrested 4 accused in this case. Family members allege that the accused broke the backbone of the victim. Cut his tongue too. However, Hathras police have denied these things. The victim was admitted to Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi for treatment, where she died on Tuesday.
