New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated the countrymen for Eid-ul-Fitr. PM Modi has also made a special appeal to the people on the occasion of Eid.

PM Modi wrote in a tweet- Congratulations to Eid-ul-Fitr. On this special occasion, carry forward the spirit of compassion, brotherhood and harmony. May all people be healthy and prosperous. On this post of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, all social media users are also congratulating the festival of Eid.

Let us tell you that Rozedars completed the 30th Roza (Fast) of Ramadan ul Mubarak month on Sunday. Eid-ul-Fitr is being celebrated across the country on the 25th of May. While Saudi Arabia, including the UAE, all the Gulf countries had seen the moon on Eid on 23 May, after which Eid was celebrated on 24 May.

The country is fighting a war against the Coronavirus these days. The lockdown is announced in the country till May 31 to prevent the spread of Corona. Due to this, all places including religious places are banned. In such a situation, people are being appealed to perform Namaz in their homes. Apart from this, people have been asked to congratulate people on Eid and do not embrace and follow social distancing.
