New Delhi: The cabinet was expanded before the fourth term of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan. A total of 28 ministers took the oath of office and secrecy during this period, including 16 from BJP, 9 supporters of Scindia and 3 leaders who left BJP and joined Congress.

Thakur has been the BJP’s vice president and in charge of the cultural cell. Thakur started actively in social programs in 1989 and became the intellectual head of the Sangh’s Indore branch. Usha Thakur has gifted a dagger by Bhagat Singh’s family before becoming Municipal Counselor in 1990. Thakur considers it the most important moment of her life and during the session also goes to the assembly only with a dagger. The Thakurs, associated with the city’s hundred bhajan mandals, conduct Sundarkand in different parts of the city. In 2003, Thakur was elected to the Assembly from Indore-1 constituency and for the second time in 2013 from Indore-3 seat. After this, Mhow reached out of Indore in the 2018 assembly. Here too, she continued his winning streak.
