Railways and flights will continue to operate during the lockdown. During this time, a cleanliness and sanitation campaign will also be run in the whole of UP. Apart from this, industrial factories in rural areas will also be open, but in urban areas, except the industries required, all will be closed. These restrictions will be strictly enforced.
During this time, transport will continue on national and state highways. Highway dhabas and petrol pumps will also be open. Although the UP government has not considered it a lockdown, a ban. State Chief Secretary Rajendra Kumar Tiwari has said in this order that the government has imposed various restrictions to prevent infection of Covid-19 and other communicable diseases (encephalitis, malaria, dengue, kala-azar) across the state. Has decided. According to a statement issued by the government, this decision has been taken after an effective review of the current status of Covid-19.
Will it open and what will be closed?
In the instructions issued by Tiwari, it has been said that during this time all offices and all urban and rural habits, markets, Galla mandis, commercial establishments, etc. will remain closed. However, the supply of health and medical services and essential services will continue as before. There will be no restriction on the movement of persons working in these services, corona warriors, sanitation workers and people associated with doorstep delivery.
The traffic of trains will continue. Buses will be arranged by the Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation according to the requirement of the passengers coming from the trains to their homes. Excluding these buses, the movement of services of Transport Corporation within the state will be restricted. International and domestic air services will continue unchanged. There will be no restriction on the movement of passengers from airports to their destinations. There will be no restriction on the movement of goods carrier vehicles. Apart from this, transportation will continue on national and state highways and petrol pumps and dhabas located along these sides will remain open.
From Friday to Sunday, a massive campaign will be launched for cleanliness and drinking water supply in the state. There will be no restriction on all the officers and employees involved and offices related to them will also remain open.
According to the instructions, the health department will carry out the operation of comprehensive medical screening and surveillance of all the members living in each household through Covid-19 / Communicable Disease Surveillance Team. There will be no restriction on the movement of all Corona Warriors, officers and employees engaged in these works on the basis of their identity card. It has been said in the directive that industrial factories located in rural areas will remain open, social distance and other health-related instructions will be strictly followed, but the remaining industrial factories in urban areas will be closed except for the remaining ones.
During this period, the office related to essential services and the identity card of officers and employees related to these ban-free services will be considered as duty pass and their movement will not be stopped. All major construction works – expressways, big bridges and roads, major construction of the Public Works Department, government buildings and private projects will continue.
It has also been instructed by the government that in every district, joint patrolling will be done by the District Magistrate and Police Officers. Strict compliance of this system will be ensured while patrolling by police teams / UP 112.
