Lockdown: Administration makes arrangements for stranded labourers in Jammu

Jammu: Due to the lockdown, the labourers of Mata Vaishno Devi Katra’s Hotels, Restaurants, shops and labourers were stuck in Katra for the last one month, the district administration on the government’s orders to take them to their residential places by making special arrangements, they have been sent to their ancestral districts. The joy of returning home was evident in the face of these workers living in Udhampur, Doda, Kishtwar, Rajouri, Poonch and Samba, Kathua. According to the police administration, according to the government order, in the first phase, only those people whose homes are in Jammu and Kashmir are being sent. Workers from outside states will be sent to the second phase on the government’s next order. On behalf of Katra district administration Reasi, trains have been installed for all districts of Katra to Jammu province. This is the people who used to do labour work in hotels, shops, private sector in Katra or on Vaishno Devi Marg. Due to the lockdown, these people were not able to reach their homes.
