New Delhi: There is news of a clash again between Pangong Indo-China troops in Ladakh amid the ongoing tension on the border. The clash took place on the night of 29–30 August. The Indian Army gave a befitting reply to the clutches of Chinese soldiers. The skirmish has taken place at a time when negotiations are going on to reduce tension on the border between the two countries. However, no damage is reported from the clash. The Indian Army is fully alert about China’s trickery. China pretends to negotiate on one side, on the other hand, its army is trying to infiltrate. The Indian Army gave a befitting reply to the impudence of the Chinese soldiers.

The Indian Army has also released a statement in this regard, stating, “Indian troops foiled China’s provocative military campaign by China’s PLA to change the status quo in Pangong Tso area. Indian troops unilaterally changed the Chinese on the ground.” Measures are taken to thwart intentions. Chinese troops violated the previous consensus reached through military and diplomatic talks on the intervening night of August 29 and 30. The Indian Army is committed to maintaining peace and stability through dialogue, but at the same time Is equally committed to protecting the country’s territorial integrity.”

Significantly, there was a violent clash between Indian and Chinese soldiers on the intervening night of June 15-16 in Galwan Valley. In this, 20 Indian soldiers were martyred. 43 soldiers of the Chinese army were also killed in the clash.
