An official of the Meteorological Department said that the city received 97 mm of rain in the last 24 hours. Meteorologists have predicted a partly cloudy sky with moderate rain and thundershowers in the coming days. It is being estimated that it will continue to rain for a few days. Several roads in Delhi were inundated due to just one day of rain, causing huge traffic problems in many parts.

Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport is flooded. According to the information, water has been filled inside Terminal-3 of the airport. People had to face problems due to waterlogging. Passengers coming by taxi to the airport had to face trouble due to waterlogging in getting inside. Due to heavy rains in Delhi, four domestic flights and one international flight were diverted from Delhi to Jaipur and Ahmedabad. Delhi International Airport (DIAL) says that due to sudden heavy rains, the airport corridor was flooded for some time, due to which this decision had to be taken.
Landslides in Uttarakhand
