Ranchi: The Jharkhand government has given permission to open hotels and lodges in the state in view of the NEET and JEE examinations, which announced the unlock-4 on Friday. Along with this, the government has also announced to start local bus service within the state and reopen the mall.
In the unlocked guidelines issued late night by the state government, bar, educational institutions, religious places, cinema, social, sports programs, educational, cultural programs, auditorium, interstate bus services in all other areas except the prohibited areas. An exemption has been announced for all other economic activities.
According to the notification, Unlock-4 under the Disaster Management Act exempts all types of economic activities except for some activities outside the prohibited area. According to the directive issued on Friday by Chief Secretary Sukhdev Singh, the lockdown has now been extended till 30 September. At the same time, the government has clearly said that the ban on religious events, swimming pools, gyms, school-colleges, coaching, entertainment parks will still remain unchanged in the state. However, some orders regarding the ban on salons and beauty parlours have not arrived.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Hemant Soren tweeted and informed the general public about the new instructions and said that the instructions for Unlock-4 have been issued by the Jharkhand government till September 30. He said that my appeal to all people is to strictly follow the government rules and must use masks. Keep distance among themselves, but keep the hearts connected.
