Gang of theft on-demand car arrested in Delhi, many luxury cars also recovered


New Delhi: The police of the capital (Delhi Police) have uncovered a gang that used to steal on-demand vehicles. Of course, before the theft of a car, his pictures were taken and sent to the customer for approval. And the vehicle was stolen only after the deal was done. The police have arrested four members of this gang, who have been identified as Mohammad Sajid, Sonu, Akash and Munna.

Police said that the accused used to do Reiki around before going by auto. And they used to steal luxury vehicles as soon as they got a chance. Police have also recovered auto, one scooty, one bike, six-car ECM, 34 duplicate keys, one tool kit, digital tab, eight mobile and other items from the accused.

In fact, a Scorpio car was stolen from Chhatarpur enclave late on the night of 2 September. Whose complaint was lodged with the police and a case was registered in the Maidan Garhi police station. On the basis of the complaint, a team of police started their investigation by scanning the footage of the CCTV camera of the area. During this time, two-three people were seen stealing the vehicle from the police.

About a week after the car was stolen, on September 8, police received information that a suspicious auto was roaming in the same area and it appeared to be used for theft. On the information, the police immediately caught the auto driver Akash reaching 100 Foot Road. Whose interrogation confessed his crime and revealed the address of his accomplice Mohammad Sajid, who was later caught by the police from Sarai Kale Khan and arrested two other accused.

During interrogation, Akash revealed that he is a member of the gang stealing the vehicle and his gang leader is Mohammad Sajid. He confessed to stealing the Scorpio car. The accused said that they steal vehicles on the demand of people sitting in Buxar Bihar. The accused auto driver told that he used to take pictures of luxury cars while walking in the area and send Mohammad Sajid and others. After this, the gang members would reach to see that car, then when they got a chance, they used to steal the vehicle with the help of the tool kit. The police have claimed to have solved six cases when this gang is caught. All the accused have old criminal records.
