Lucknow: A report has been filed against former Delhi MLA and Congress leader Alka Lamba at Unnao’s Sadar Kotwali. Alka Lamba has been accused of making misleading tweets.
Congress leader Alka Lamba, known for her outspoken remarks and sharp sarcasm, is once again in controversy. Aishwarya Sengar, daughter of former MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar who was serving a sentence in the Tihar Jail, on Sunday complained to the Unnao police in this regard. The complaint alleges that Alka Lamba and another person made a misleading tweet from their Twitter account.

It has been claimed through a piece of news that the High Court has given bail to Kuldeep Singh Sengar. Retweeting the news, Alka wrote objectionable remarks on PM Modi, CM Yogi and Home Minister Amit Shah. In the complaint, Aishwarya has also written that her father has appealed in the Delhi High Court. Whose hearing will be held on June 1, but deliberate confusion was spread that the High Court granted bail, while Kuldeep has not sought bail from the High Court. This is an attempt to pressure the media and the High Court. She also added that every time false accusations are made on her and her family. District court already ignored the evidence and gave the verdict based on Media trials. And the Kuldeep Singh Sengar’s appeal to the High court claims that lower court had misread the CDR report.

Alka Lamba has a connection with controversies
Let us tell you that the controversies have been related to Alka Lamba in the past too. There was also a dispute with Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal. His AAP MLA Saurabh Bhardwaj had a tweeter war about this. After all, Alka Lamba had quit the Aam Aadmi Party a few months before the Delhi Assembly elections in 2019. Apart from this, Alka Lamba came into the limelight 8 years ago in the year 2012, when she made public the name of a rape victim of a state.
