New Delhi: The crime branch of Delhi Police has filed a charge sheet in Karkardooma Court in the violence case in Gokulpuri area of ​​North East Delhi. According to the charge sheet, 9 people belonging to a particular community were killed and their bodies were thrown away in the Joharipur Pulia drain of Gokulpuri area. Police arrested 9 people from other communities in the murder case.

Whatsapp group was formed to riot

According to the charge sheet, a WhatsApp group was formed to spread arson and kill people of a particular community. 125 people were added to this group. It was formed on 24 February, a day before the group violence. In which a member of a WhatsApp group had said that I am a resident of Ganga Vihar. If there are any problems, people fall short, then I will bring an army to tell me. We have everything in common, bullet gun everything. There are also two killed and thrown in the drain.

Police search for the accused

It is written in the charge sheet that during the riots on 25-26 February, those who were passing near the Johri drain. The rioters associated with the WhatsApp group were asking him his name. After that, people of other communities were killed and his body was drained into the drain. According to the charge sheet, the main accused of the WhatsApp group is still absconding.

The crime branch first arrested the WhatsApp group and one of the accused associated with the murder and then his mobile phone was recovered. It was then that this WhatsApp group was exposed to carry out the killings in the riots.

Let us tell you that on March 3, 2020, this charge sheet has been filed on three FIRs filed in Gokulpuri police station. 9 people have been accused in all the three FIRs. This charge sheet has been filed in many sections including murder, conspiracy.
