The Civil Aviation Ministry has updated the Self-Declaration Form to be filled by passengers for traveling by flight. The ministry has informed all airlines that only those passengers who have not been found corona positive in the last 21 days will be allowed to travel. This time limit of 21 days will be before the date of travel. PTI has told about this in one of its reports.
It is worth noting that in the notification issued by the aviation ministry on May 21, it was said that only passengers not found Covid-19 positive in the last 2 months will be allowed to travel.
Why this decision was taken? According to the PTI report, Minnie Stree has taken this decision because she believes that a large number of people in the country have recovered from Coronavirus infection. In such a situation, the ministry has taken this decision to remove the hassle of traveling people. Airlines have been informed about this update in the self-declaration form a few days ago.
Individuals recovering from Corona can travel with conditions
It further states that if a person has recovered from Coronavirus infection and his report has not been positive in the last 3 weeks, then he may also be allowed to travel by air. However, the people required to show Covid-19 discharge certificate. Permission will also be given to show the Covid-19 recovery certificate. It can be obtained from the hospital where corona has been treated.
Recovery rate in India 63%
Out of 8.2 lakh infected people so far in India, 5.15 lakh have been recovered. This means the recovery rate is 63 per cent. So far, more than 22,000 people have died due to coronavirus in the country. Domestic flight service was started after about 2 months due to Coronavirus epidemic in India. Which began on 25th May.
