New Delhi: Defense Minister Rajnath Singh had an important meeting with BRO officials. In the meeting, India-China were discussed about road construction projects. The Border Roads Organization has constructed three bridges near Leh. These bridges are very important for India from a strategic point of view. With the help of these bridges, it has become easier to carry tanks and heavy vehicles on LAC. All three bridges have been completed in just three months.
BRO has started converting the Khardung La Pass road into two lanes. This is the world’s highest road built in Ladakh, which gives the country access to the Siachen Glacier. With the construction of this, the movement of heavy vehicles to Siachen will become easier.
Here, despite China’s retreat in Galvan, India is not in a mood to leave any slop on the border. Air Force combat ships and helicopters are patrolling the frontline day and night at the forward airbase of Ladakh. With this, China’s activity through drones is constantly being monitored.
