Mumbai: The BJP leader has made a strange demand to the Uddhav government to read the prayers of Eid-ul-Fitr in Maharashtra. Taking a demand, BJP leader Haji Arafat Sheikh said that the government should wear the PPE kit and allow Eid prayers. Arafat has been Minister of State in the Fadnavis government.

BJP leader Haji Arafat said that the month of Ramadan is coming to an end. All Muslim brothers want to offer Eid prayers. In such a situation, they should be allowed to offer Namaz by wearing PPE kits. PPE kits are being used to avoid the risk of the corona, so it is safe.

He said that the government should give an exemption for 2 hours and set someplace where people of all Muslim societies can read Namaz Prayers while wearing PPE kits. Arafat said that many Muslim people are included in the Maharashtra cabinet. In such a situation, they should take this demand seriously and pressurize the government for its permission.
