New Delhi: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) suspended councillor Tahir Hussain has been given a big blow by the Karkardooma court. The court on Monday ruled the bail plea of Tahir Hussain, an accused in the IB officer Ankit murder case, and dismissed the petition. Let us know that on July 10, while hearing the petition, the court had reserved this decision.
Significantly, during the Delhi riots, Tahir Hussain, an accused in the murder of IB officer Ankit Sharma, had filed a bail petition in Karkardooma Court. At the same time, the Crime Branch of Delhi Police filed a charge sheet in this case and said that the investigation should continue. Let us know that in its charge sheet filed on June 3, the Crime Branch has registered a case against 10 accused including Tahir Hussain.
In the charge sheet, the crime branch said that Ankit Sharma was brutally killed in Khajuri Khas area. In the charge sheet, Ankit’s murder was said to be the result of a well-thought-out conspiracy. The incident occurred outside Tahir Hussain’s house in Khajuri Khas area. After the death of Ankit Sharma, his body was thrown into a drain. In the charge sheet, the police said that the doctors found that there were 51 marks on the sharp-edged weapon. The police claim that they have such evidence which shows that it was Tahir who instigated the mob in the Chand Bagh area.
