New Delhi: The family of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput on Saturday clarified that Sushant’s father KK Singh is not on Twitter. In some media reports, it was claimed that Sushant’s father had tweeted and demanded a CBI inquiry into the actor’s death.
Sushant, a 34-year-old actor who played Dhoni in the hearts of people in a film like ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’, was found dead on June 14 at his Bandra residence. Rejecting the claims, a family source said, “They have denied any such account (Twitter) and have urged the active people behind it not to spread such confusion among the people.”
According to the source, the family has not released a statement since June 27 on Sushant’s death. In his statement on 27 June, his family was said to help emerging talents in the fields of cinema, sports and science. The family has not given any interview to the media nor shared any such post on Sosham Media.
Significantly, some media reports have claimed that Sushant’s father had posted on Twitter that his son has been killed, which some people are trying to prove suicide. Sushant’s last film ‘Dil Bechara’ will be released on Disney Plus Hotstar on July 24.
