New Delhi: It will now take a three-day lockdown to deal with Corona in Uttar Pradesh. The state government has issued many more stringent rules so that those who are breaking the rules should take strict action. Efforts continue to reduce the growing outbreak of corona. CM Yogi Adityanath is monitoring the situation with his team. Stringent decisions are being taken in the midst of growing Corona cases in UP. Given the increasing corona infection in UP, the weekend lockdown has been increased by a day.
The Yogi government has not yet imposed a complete lockdown. But now the weekend lockdown is being gradually increased due to the speed of the transition. According to the new order, the lockdown will remain from 8 pm Friday to 7 am Tuesday. This order is for every district of UP.
Earlier the one-day lockdown was extended to two days in UP. After this, now it has been increased for one more day. Talking about the figures of the last 24 hours in UP, on Thursday, 35,156 new cases have come, 298 people have died, while 25,613 people have been discharged.
The condition of cities such as Prayagraj, Kanpur, Ghaziabad is more critical, including Lucknow, the state capital. The death toll is also the highest here. In the last 24 hours, 298 people died in the state, among them Lucknow – 37, Prayagraj – 19, Kanpur Nagar – 16, Ghaziabad – 12 and Gautam Buddha Nagar – 11.
All will remain closed in this increased lockdown in UP, although essential services will be exempted during this period. Shops like medical, grocery will open. There will be only home delivery from the restaurant, only 50 people are allowed to attend the wedding ceremony, the penalty will not be imposed for not applying the mask.
It is being told that during this bandh, sanitation and fogging work will be carried out by carrying out a special cleanliness drive.
