UP becomes the state with the most expressways, will get 4 new E’ways by 2024

With the launch of the Purvanchal Expressway, Uttar Pradesh will become the state with the most expressways. Now three big expressways Yamuna Expressway, Agra Lucknow Expressway and Purvanchal Expressway are connecting one end of it directly to the other end i.e. Ghazipur to Noida, increasing the glory of UP. Through this, now the journey for the public will be very easy, comfortable and in less time.

In future, UP will get the gift of three expressways Bundelkhand Expressway, Gorakhpur Link Expressway and Ballia Link Expressway and the biggest project like Ganga Expressway is set to be completed by 2024.

Purvanchal Expressway (341 km)

Purvanchal Expressway will complete the journey starting from Ghazipur to Lucknow in just four to four and a half hours. After this, the journey from Lucknow to Agra will be completed through Agra Lucknow Expressway. From here, walking on Yamuna Express can be reached directly to Noida Delhi. Vehicles will be able to run at a speed of 100 km on the expressway.


The construction of Gorakhpur Link Expressway is going on fast between Gorakhpur Azamgarh. Its gift will also be available next year. Direct connectivity to Gorakhpur will be available on Purvanchal Expressway.

Ganga Expressway – 594 km

The Ganga Expressway, considered the longest in the country, is going to be built from Meerut to Prayagraj. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone for it next month. More than 95 per cent of its land has been purchased.

Bundelkhand Expressway

The work of Bundelkhand Express being built from Chitrakoot to Etawah is going on fast. One lane will be opened for the public after inaugurating it next month. While the entire expressway will open by January next year. Those coming from Madhya Pradesh and Bundelkhand will be able to reach Delhi after Etawah on Agra Express.
