New Delhi: Today is the second death anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the Samadhi Smriti Sthal of the former PM and paid tribute to him. Apart from PM Modi, President Ram Nath Kovind also reached Smriti Sthal and paid tribute to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Apart from this, Home Minister Amit Shah and many BJP leaders visited the Smriti Sthal to pay tribute to the former PM.
PM Modi also remembered him by posting a video on Twitter. PM Modi tweeted with the video, wrote ‘Tribute to Atal ji on his death anniversary, India will always remember his outstanding service and efforts for the progress of our nation’. This video is 1.49 seconds.
PM Modi said in the video that this country can never forget Atal ji’s contribution. Under his leadership, the country also rose in nuclear power. Be it party leader, member of parliament, minister or prime minister, Atal ji established the ideal in every role.
Home Minister Amit Shah tweeted and paid tribute to Atal ji and said, ‘Bharat Ratna revered Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji was the voice of patriotism and Indian culture. He was a dedicated politician as well as a skilled organizer who played an important role in the expansion of the foundation of the BJP and motivated millions of workers to serve the country.
