Ladakh: The Indian Army appears fully prepared for the war across China in eastern Ladakh. The Indian Army has fielded the Tank Regiment in the face of conflict with China. TMP-2 and T-72 tanks have also been deployed with BMP-2 Infantry Combat Vehicles near the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in the Chumar-Demchok area, these tanks can operate at temperatures up to minus 40 degrees Celsius.
The deployment of the T-90, considered to be the world’s most infallible tank, is considered to be the biggest power performance of the Indian Army. Regarding this deployment of the army, Major General Arvind Kapoor of the Chief of Staff of the 14 Corps said that the Fire and Fury Corps is not only a unique part of the Indian Army but of the Army around the world. Today all our logistics preparations are in place to ensure the preparation of crew and equipment.
Maj Gen Arvind Kapoor said that every one of our youth and equipment is well prepared, no matter how difficult the weather is. Let me tell you that in this regiment, there are many modern tanks including Bhishma and Arjun, which can blow the enemies in a few moments. With this deployment, India has given a clear message to China that in the event of war it will not refrain from entering its occupied territory.
The Indian Army had already said that if conditions of war arise in the winter season, China will face an army of India that will stand before them in a capable and powerful manner. In fact, all areas of the Ladakh range fall in the highest mountainous regions. The region receives heavy snowfall during the month of November. Apart from this, the minimum temperature here reaches around -30 to -40 degrees. In these cold conditions, many times the roads connecting Ladakh are also closed.
