New Delhi: Many states of the country are facing the threat of a cyclone. States like Kerala, Maharashtra, Goa, Gujarat, Karnataka have already started showing the effects of the cyclone. At the same time, the home minister of the country Amit Shah held a high-level meeting regarding the tornado cyclone. Which included big officials from several agencies, including the Chief Minister of Gujarat, Maharashtra.

Home Minister Amit Shah has instructed the states to take care of the corona patients especially during this period. Let us tell you, electricity can be lost during a storm or often due to heavy rains so that people can be protected from the current. In such a situation, it is to be noted that there are corona patients in hospitals who are on ventilator or oxygen supply. The Home Minister has said that we have to take care that the power system of the hospital is not affected during the power outage. The officials should take the necessary steps in this regard.

At the same time, due to the ‘Taukate’ cyclone, there is heavy rain and strong wind in Kerala, Goa. Electricity has been lost in many areas. Electric poles were uprooted and the power supply was disrupted in many areas.

According to the Energy Minister of Goa, hundreds of electric poles have broken. Many high tension wires of the 33 kV power supply have been affected due to the felling of trees.

Let me tell you, there is havoc in Maharashtra. Due to this, 220 KV lines supplying electricity in many areas have been affected there too.

At the same time, fishermen have been refused to go to the sea. NDRF is on alert. On the other hand, IMD has issued a bulletin stating that the very severe cyclonic storm ‘Taukate’ has moved from the east-central Arabian Sea northwards at a speed of about 11 kmph during the last 6 hours.
