Rajasthan government inks investment agreements worth Rs 37,828 crore at Dubai Expo

Jaipur: The Rajasthan government has signed investment agreements worth Rs 37,828 crore in various sectors at the ongoing Dubai Expo in Dubai. Along with this, the royal family of Dubai has also expressed its intention to invest in the health, tourism and infrastructure sectors. A government spokesperson said that till Monday the Dubai Expo had 24 agreements worth Rs 37,828 crore related to logistics, ceramics, stone, real estate, petroleum, agriculture and food processing, e-waste recycling, medical, infrastructure, IT and tourism sectors. Letters (MoUs) and 17 Letters of Intent (LOIs) have been done.

The royal family of Dubai has also expressed its to invest in the health, tourism and infrastructure sectors. Industries Minister Parsadi Lal Meena informed that given the immense potential for investment in various sectors in the state, policies have been made according to the investors. Investors are expressing confidence in the state by getting all the permissions related to the industry in one place through ‘One Stop Shop’. It is noteworthy that along with Meena, Urban Development Minister Shanti Dhariwal, Minister of State for Industry Arjun Singh Bamnia and a team of officials have gone to Dubai Expo, which is inviting investors to invest there after discussing with them.
