PM Modi congratulates Mamata Banerjee for victory in Bengal, says – full support in the fight against COVID-19

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated Mamata Banerjee for the Trinamool Congress (TMC) victory in West Bengal. He said the Center will give all possible support to the West Bengal government to fulfil the aspirations of the people and overcome the COVID-19 epidemic.

‘Increase in BJP seats’

In another tweet, Prime Minister Modi said, ‘I want to thank my sisters and brothers of West Bengal who have blessed our party. BJP seats have increased considerably compared to the previous. BJP will continue to serve the public. I applaud every worker for his enthusiastic efforts in the elections.’

Congratulations to MK Stalin and Vijayan as well

Apart from this, PM Modi has thanked the public for reposing confidence in the NDA again in Assam. The Chief Minister of Assam has congratulated Sarbananda Sonowal. Also congratulated MK Stalin and Chief Minister of Kerala and Pinarayi Vijayan for the DMK victory in Tamil Nadu.

Rajnath Singh also congratulated

Senior BJP leader and Union Minister Rajnath Singh also congratulated Mamata Banerjee for the Trinamool Congress victory in the West Bengal Legislative Assembly elections and MK Stalin for the DMK’s victory in Tamil Nadu. In a series of tweets, Singh also congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi, JP Nadda and Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal for victory.

Congratulations to Pinarayi Vijayan as well

Rajnath Singh also congratulated Kerala Chief Minister and CPI (M) leader Pinarayi Vijayan on the party’s victory in the state. Senior BJP leader Rajnath Singh tweeted, ”Congratulations to the Chief Minister of Kerala, Mr. @vijayanpinarayi. My best wishes to him for his next term on his party’s victory in the Kerala Legislative Assembly elections.”
