New Delhi: President Ram Nath Kovind honored 141 people with Padma Awards at Rashtrapati Bhavan. The Padma awards, the highest civilian honor after Bharat Ratna in the country, were distributed in the historic Durbar Hall of Rashtrapati Bhavan.
Government felicitated people doing excellent work in various fields in this grand ceremony. During this, Home Minister Amit Shah was also present with Vice President Venkaiah Naidu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
This time the awards are being given for two years. , today, 141 people were honored with Padma awards for the year 2020, and on Tuesday, 119 people for 2021.
