Auraiya/Etawah (UP): The atmosphere has started heating up for the next year’s assembly elections in UP. CM Yogi Adityanath is constantly besieging SP President Akhilesh Yadav for calling Jinnah a patriot.

‘Patel was the one who united the country and Jinnah was the destroyer’

In Auraiya, CM Yogi (Yogi Adityanath) on Saturday took a dig at Akhilesh Yadav, who compared Sardar Patel with Jinnah. He said that one (Patel) was going to unite the country and the other (Jinnah) was going to break the country. That’s why people need to be careful with Jinnah supporters. CM Yogi issued a warning on the campaign against the mafia. CM Yogi said that if a bulldozer is running on the mafia today, then one day the refugees of the mafia will run.

On the occasion of the foundation stone laying of Government Medical College in Auraiya, without naming Akhilesh Yadav, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said, ‘A party leader had issued a statement recently. He had tried to compare Sardar Patel, a symbol of India’s integrity, with Jinnah who broke the country. Such shameful and condemnable statements should be rejected by the entire state.

‘Beware of those who equate Patel and Jinnah

“Today an attempt is being made to compare Jinnah and Sardar Patel. We have to understand the motives of such elements. Sardar Patel was about to unite the country and Jinnah was about to break the country. Both cannot be equal. Sardar Patel is a national hero but Jinnah is going to break the unity of India. For those who are trying to make this comparison. We have to be careful with them.

CM Yogi said, ‘Today the state is changing. The image of the state has changed. Earlier, professional criminals and mafia used to destroy the lives of poor, businessmen, daughters and sisters. If a bulldozer is running on the mafia, then it will work on the refugees of the mafia.

The Chief Minister said that riots used to start as soon as the first festival arrived in the state. Faith was also stifled. The earnings of all the small and big traders were also looted. He said that not only this, there was an attack on the faith of the common man. They were also imprisoned by imposing false cases.

‘No riots happened in last four and a half years

CM Yogi said, ‘You must have seen in the last four and a half years that not a single riot took place in the state. Those who tried to riot, have been told bluntly that stop rioting, stop playing with faith. If you do, there will be recovery along with interest.’

Yogi said, ‘Sensitive government works without discrimination. It does not discriminate in any kind of development schemes and is giving benefits to everyone equally, but does not appease anyone.’ The Chief Minister also gave detailed information about the ongoing development schemes in the state.

‘Earlier public money was spent on cemeteries’

At the inauguration of the Central Jail in Etawah, CM Yogi said, ‘Earlier public money was spent on the boundary wall of graveyards. Now the same money is being spent on the welfare of the people and their development works. The earlier governments used to limit the benefits of government schemes to a particular family and the mafia used to eat the rights of the people together. Now for me, only 25 crore people of the state are my family.

The Chief Minister said, ‘The patrons of criminals want to hinder the development of the state. Now the time has come that strict action should be taken not only on the criminals but also on the protectors of the criminals, so that crime and criminals should be curbed.’

Akhilesh told Jinnah to be a patriot like Patel
