UIDAI has said by tweeting that now you can easily update the address in Aadhaar using ‘Address Validation Letter’. With this, the institution wrote in a tweet that the address of the remaining members of the family can also be updated by sitting at home.
The address can be changed without any document
If you do not have any proof of the new address, you can still change the address in Aadhaar. For this, you will have to go to the UIDAI website and apply for an Address Validation Letter. After completing this, a letter will be sent to your address containing the secret code. Later you can change the address in your base with the help of it.

You must first go to the official site of UIDAI.
Here you have to click on the updated address.
Now enter the 12 digit Aadhaar number.
Click send OTP for text verification code.
Now you enter OTP. After that, you have to click on the address option.
Now write your current address and submit it.
Apart from this, if you want to change something, then you can click on the Modify option.
After this, click on the declaration and proceed.
Shortly after doing this process, your address will be updated.
You can also update your address by visiting the Aadhaar centre
After a few days, your address will be updated in Aadhaar, after that you can download and print your new Aadhaar again. If you do not have any proof of the new address then you can change your address in Aadhaar with the address validation letter. If you are not able to apply online, then you can also get a new address update in Aadhaar by visiting your nearest Aadhaar registration centre.
