New Delhi: Addressing the nation on the eve of 74th Independence Day, President Ramnath Kovind spoke about the progress of the nation on various issues ranging from Coronavirus to the adventurousness of neighbouring countries and the commencement of construction work of Shri Ram temple. On this occasion, he said important things somewhere. Here is a look at them:

It is a day to feel the pride of freedom. Modern India is being built on the foundation of independent India. Luckily, Mahatma Gandhi was our guide ..

  • Equality is the basic mantra of our Republic. This year there will be no splash on Independence Day … because Corona has damaged the world ..
  • It is reassuring to take effective steps in time. The state governments acted according to the local situation… and proved effective in protecting the lives of the people.
  • The warriors of Corona worked steadily. Unfortunately, the Corona warrior lost his life while fighting Corona. The nation is indebted to all the doctors, nurses and other health workers who have been frontline warriors in this fight against the corona virus.

West Bengal and Odisha had to face the storm of Amfan. Northeast states suffered floods

By launching the ‘Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana’, the government has given livelihood to crores of people, so that the pain of losing jobs, moving from one place to another and dislocating life due to the epidemic can be reduced.

The hardest hit of this epidemic has been on the poor and the daily livelihood earners. In this era of crisis, along with efforts to prevent them, many public welfare measures have been taken.

No family has to starve, for this, free food grains are being given to the needy people. Every month, about 80 crore people are being guaranteed ration through this campaign. The biggest hit of this epidemic has been on the people earning livelihood daily. The government has taken many steps to help people. By no means did people have to starve for it – the government is giving ration

Rationed to 80 crore people. ONE NATION ONE RATION CARD is being rolled out to all states

Committed to helping our people trapped in trouble anywhere in the world, more than a million Indians have been brought back home by the government, under the ‘Vande Bharat Mission’.

The movement of goods and people has been made possible by Indian Railways by running train services in this challenging time.

On the strength of belief in our power, we have extended a helping hand to other countries in the fight against Kovid-19. At the request of other countries, by supplying medicines, we have once again proved that India stands with the world community at the time of crisis.

India’s self-reliance means being able to be self-sufficient, not alienating or distanceing from the world. It also means that India will also be involved in the global market system and will maintain its own special identity.

The overwhelming support in the recently concluded elections for temporary membership of the United Nations Security Council is a testimony to the widespread international goodwill towards India. Today, when the biggest challenge faced by the world community is the need to unite and fight, then our neighbor dared to carry out his expansionist activities cleverly.

Protecting the borders, our brave soldiers sacrificed their lives. Those sons of Mother India, live only for national pride and die for that. The entire nation pays tribute to the sacrifices of Galvan Valley. Every Indian has a feeling of gratitude towards his family members.

His valor has shown that although our faith is at peace, if anyone tries to create disturbance, he will be given a proper answer. We are proud of our armed forces, police and paramilitary forces, which protect the borders, and ensure our internal security.

We all learned many important lessons in the year 2020. An invisible virus has broken the myth that nature is subject to humans. I believe that by taking the right path, the opportunity to adopt a lifestyle based on harmony with nature, still exists in front of humanity

Like climate change, this epidemic has also raised the consciousness that the destiny of every member of the world community is linked with each other. My belief is that ‘human-centered collaboration’ is more important in the present context than ‘meaning-centered inclusion’.

I believe that in the fight against Kovid-19, it is necessary to focus on protecting both life and livelihood. We have seen the present crisis as an opportunity to revive the economy by bringing proper reforms in the interest of everyone, especially the farmers and small entrepreneurs.

Historical reforms have been made in the agricultural sector. Farmers can get their maximum price by selling their produce, anywhere in the country without any hindrance. The ‘Essential Commodities Act’ has been amended to free farmers from regulatory restrictions. This will help in increasing the income of farmers.

The corona virus does not recognize artificial divisions created by human society. This reinforces the belief that we need to rise above all the prejudices and limitations generated by humans.

The 21st century should be remembered as the century when humanity made a united effort to protect Mother Earth, bypassing differences.

Public hospitals and laboratories have played a leading role in countering Kovid-19. Due to public health services, it has become possible for the poor to face this epidemic. Therefore, these public health facilities will have to be made more elaborate and strengthened.

The fourth lesson is related to science and technology. The need to rapidly develop science and technology from this global epidemic has received more attention. Information and communication technologies have been adopted as effective means of governance, education, business, office work and social interaction during the process of lockdown and subsequent unlocking respectively.

I believe that the future of our country and youth is bright.
