Lockdown extended till 7 June in Delhi, but construction and manufacturing units to start work from Monday

New Delhi: Once again, the entire lockdown period in the country’s capital Delhi has been extended. Now the restrictions will continue in the state till 5 am on June 7. However, DDMA has given conditional permission to some people to come out and go to work from Monday.

They will be allowed to travel

Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) said in its statement that the movement of people will be stopped except for necessary activities in Delhi. Apart from this, outside the Containment Zone, construction and manufacturing units in industrial areas have been allowed to operate. However, during this time, everyone has been strictly instructed to follow the Covid Protocol.

956 Corona case found in Delhi on Saturday

Talk about the corona case In the last 24 hours, 956 new cases of coronavirus infection were reported in Delhi, which was the lowest in terms of several cases reported in almost the last two months. At the same time, 122 more patients died due to the epidemic, while the infection rate came down to 1.19 per cent. On March 22, 888 cases of this infection were registered in Delhi and for the first time since then, less than one thousand cases have been reported in a day.

‘Now we have to start unlocking Delhi’

Seeing this figure, CM Arvind Kejriwal expressed happiness and said that I hope that as the cases reduce in the coming weeks, we will continue to unlock further. We want economic activities to be back on track. No one likes lockdown. This is like the last option with the government, which is used only when the situation is uncontrollable. However, everything is going well now.
