Bharatiya Kisan Union spokesperson Rakesh Tikait has said that as soon as the Delhi Police removes the barricades placed on the roads, the farmers will reach the Parliament House with tractors full of paddy crop and sell their paddy there. Talking to India TV, Rakesh Tikait said that the Parliament of Delhi is now a farmers’ market and they will go there and sell their paddy.
Rakesh Tikait while talking to India TV said that the farmers have not blocked the way by sitting on the road, but the Delhi Police has blocked the way and now because the Delhi Police is removing the barricade, the farmers will also travel to Delhi and go there to Parliament. Rakesh Tikait also told that on behalf of the United Kisan Morcha, the government has been offered to hold talks with the farmers till November 26, and if the government wants to hold talks with the farmers, then do so by November 26.
Rakesh Tikait, however, also pointed out that the Bharatiya Janata Party needs to be given ‘medicine’ in the elections, adding that farmers will give some ‘medicine’ to the Bharatiya Janata Party in the by-elections in Haryana’s Ellenabad and it will bring some relief.
