There will be no jam in UP, Uttarakhand and Delhi
Balbir Singh Rajewal and Rakesh Tikait of the United Kisan Morcha say that the Chakka Jam to be held today will be in the entire country except for UP and Uttarakhand. Both leaders have said that they will not jam the wheel in UP-Uttarakhand. The farmers there will only submit the memorandum to the district collectors. Delhi NCR has also been kept out of the purview of Chakka Jam. The Congress party has given its support to the ‘Chakka Jam’ of the farmers’ unions.
United Farmers Front issued guidelines
To make this flywheel jam successful, guidelines have been issued by the United Kisan Morcha. Which states: –
- National and state highways across the country will be jammed from 12 noon to 3 pm.
- Emergency and essential services like ambulance, school bus etc. will not be stopped.
- The flywheel jam will remain completely peaceful and non-violent. During this time, the protesters will not engage in confrontation with any officers, employees or common citizens.
- There will be no flywheel jam in Delhi NCR as all the protest sites are already in flywheel jam mode. All roads will be open to enter Delhi, except where there is already strong barricades in front of farmers.
- Chakka jam_ program will be concluded at 3 p.m. indicating the unity of farmers by playing the horn.
Delhi Police fully attentive
The farmers may have announced to keep Delhi out of the Chakka Jam (Farmers Protest), but given the violence of 26 January, the Delhi Police is fully alert. Delhi Police sent a letter to the Metro Metro asking them to be ready on short notice. In a letter written by DCP New Delhi, it is said that if necessary, 12 Metro stations can be asked to be closed, be prepared for this.
These 12 metro stations may be closed today
According to the DCP, the names of metro stations to be closed in an emergency are Rajiv Chowk, Patel Chowk, Central Secretariat, Udyog Bhawan, Lok Kalyan Marg, Janpath, Mandi House, RK Ashram, Supreme Court, Khan Market and Shivaji Stadium (Airport Express Line ) Huh. Home Minister gave instructions to tighten security
Union Home Minister Amit Shah has instructed Delhi Police to ensure the security of places like Parliament House, India Gate. Internet ban extended in Haryana
Meanwhile, given the farmers’ agitation, the Haryana government has again extended the time limit for internet ban in Sonepat and Jhajjar.
