Due to the closure of the road, the administrative officials are having difficulty in reaching the people. Dozens of plur, killed, tuned panchayats have been affected by the torrential rains.

While the wheat crop of the people of Loni, Dalotha Banni and Kuned village has been damaged, the recently harvested maize crop has also been destroyed. Chamba-Bharmour National Highway is also blocked at many places. The Public Works Department is fully involved in road restoration.

On the other hand, CM Tirath Singh Rawat, on receiving information about the damage caused by excessive rainfall, called the District Magistrate Chamoli and directed to provide immediate relief to the affected.
