Ban on the use of the word ‘Gorakh Dhanda’ in Haryana, CM Manohar Lal takes this decision

Chandigarh: The Haryana government has banned a word that is commonly used by everyone. It has now been decided to ban the use of the word ‘Gorakh Dhandha’ in the entire state. It is commonly used to refer to immoral acts.

Gorakhnath community had demanded

According to an official statement issued by the Haryana government on Wednesday, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has taken this decision after meeting a delegation of the Gorakhnath community. The delegation urged Khattar to ban the use of the word as it hurts the sentiments of the followers of Sant Gorakhnath.

The Chief Minister said that Gorakhnath was a saint and the use of this word in any official language, speech or in any context hurts the sentiments of his followers, hence the use of this word in any context has been completely banned.

Voice raised from other states also

Gorakhnath was a saint and a temple dedicated to him is built in Gorar is a Village in Kharkhoda Tehsil in Sonipat District of Haryana State. Earlier, the demand for banning the word hoax has also arisen in states like UP and Rajasthan. The Nath sect has been demanding to ban this word in the whole country.
