Noida: The condition of air pollution in NCR has worsened after stubble burning and reduced airflow in the surrounding areas. Due to this, all the big cities of NCR reached the ‘Dark Red Zone’ on Saturday.

NCR’s condition is poor due to pollution

According to pollution measuring app ‘Sameer’, the Air Quality Index (AQI) was recorded at 466 in Ghaziabad on Saturday. While 414 in Greater Noida, 461 in Noida, 449 in Faridabad, 437 in Delhi, 431 in Ballabhgarh and 456 in Gurugram were recorded.

On the other hand, 445 AQI was registered in Baghpat, 388 in Bahadurgarh, 433 in Bulandshahr, 445 in Hapur, 438 in Meerut.

Full of fireworks

According to sources, the situation has also worsened this time due to the fireworks on the occasion of Diwali 2021. Although the government and the court had banned fireworks, people did not agree and in many areas, firecrackers were bursting fiercely.

People are having trouble breathing

Due to this, the situation of air pollution in NCR has worsened in the last few days. Due to air pollution, there have been complaints like suffocation, burning in the eyes, asthma and worsening of TB patients. The biggest impact is being seen on young children and the elderly.
