New Delhi: In the first meeting of the heads of the QUAD countries, US President Joe Biden said that a smile came on the face of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This was the first time Biden and PM Modi were face to face after the change of power in America. Earlier, Prime Minister Modi had called Biden to congratulate him on the victory. Apart from PM Modi, Joe Biden, Prime Minister of Australia Morrison and Prime Minister of Japan Yoshihide Suga also attended the QUAD’s virtual meeting on Friday.

During the meeting, American President Biden looked very happy to see Prime Minister Modi. Expressing his happiness, he said, ‘Prime Minister Modi, nice to see you.’ The US President further said that it is a pleasure to be among friends. As soon as Biden said this, there was a smile on PM Modi’s face. After this, he thanked the US President.
Biden told QUAD important
US President Joe Biden said during the first Quad Leaders Virtual Summit that the US is committed to working with all partners to achieve stability. This group (QUAD) is extremely important because it is dedicated to practical solutions and concrete results. We are starting a new ambitious joint partnership, which is promoting corona vaccine production for global benefit. He further said that the vaccination campaign should be strengthened to benefit the entire Indo-Pacific.

The conference started with a namaste by Prime Minister of Australia Scott Morrison. Except for the Prime Minister of Japan, all the other leaders put their point in English. At the same time, Japanese PM Yoshihide Suga spoke in his mother tongue. During the meeting, all the leaders talked about many topics. During this time China was also talked about, but more focus was on the corona epidemic. How the US President welcomed PM Modi at the conference indicates the strong relationship between the two countries.
