New Delhi: Big news is coming at the moment on the border dispute between India and China. There was a conversation between National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and the Foreign Minister of China. This conversation took place on 5 July and lasted for two hours. Discussion on reducing tension on the border was discussed. Both countries have agreed to create a peaceful environment in the future.
The Foreign Ministry said that both sides have agreed that the process of abolition on the Line of Actual Control (LAC) should be completed soon. Apart from this, both sides should reduce the confrontation on Indo-China borders in a phased manner. Representatives of both countries have also agreed that both sides should seek guidance with the consensus of the peace-keeping leaders of the India-China border. During the talks, both sides have also agreed to strictly respect LAC. With this, an agreement has been reached to work together to disturb the peace or avoid any incident in the future.
It has also been agreed to keep diplomatic and military officials’ discussions between the representatives of both sides. Which includes talks and coordination on Indo-China Border Affairs (WMCC). During the talks, the two countries have also agreed that according to bilateral agreements and protocols, India-China will continue talks to maintain peace and status quo in the border areas.
Meanwhile, China has had to bow to the tough stance of India in Ladakh. According to sources, Chinese troops have started retreating in the Galvan Valley. Carts, armoured vehicles are going back. Chinese soldiers are seen going to Galvan, Hotsprings, Gogra. Also seen removing tents from PP 14. At the same place, there was a bloody clash between India and China on 15 June. 20 soldiers of India were martyred in this bloody struggle. More than 40 Chinese soldiers were killed.
