India joined Russia in the fight against Corona; Putin spoke to PM Modi and gave assurance of ‘help’

New Delhi: Russian President Vladimir Putin has called for PM Narendra Modi on April 28, assuring “full support” in the fight against Corona. Explain that due to this virus, a total of 2,01,187 people have lost their lives while more than 1,79,97,267 people have been infected in India. In the midst of the crisis, Russia has announced that it will send a large consignment of aid to India by immediate flight to the Russian Emergency Ministry.

The Russian Federation has decided to send oxygen concentrators, ventilators, anticancer drugs and other essential medical and pharmaceutical products. According to a press release, delivery of all of these has been scheduled for the coming days.

Russia said in a statement, “The leadership of the Russian Federation decided to counter the sharp rise in the incidence of new Coronavirus infection, given the feeling of friendship and a particularly privileged strategic partnership between Russia and India.”

PM Modi thanks Putin for ‘help and support’

PM Modi has thanked Putin for “help and support” via Twitter. He explained that ‘during the phone call the two have also reviewed various bilateral cooperation, particularly in the space exploration and renewable energy sector, which also included hydrogen economy’. PM Modi said, “Our cooperation on Sputnik-V vaccine will help humanity in fighting the epidemic.”

Prime Minister Modi said, “To give further momentum to our strong strategic partnership, President Putin and I have agreed to establish a 2 + 2 ministerial dialogue between our Foreign and Defense Ministers.”
