The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) held an emergency meeting on Monday on the situation arising out of the Taliban occupation in Afghanistan. This is the second meeting of the Security Council in the past week. Guterres said- I appeal to all countries to accept refugees. The international community must unite to ensure that Afghanistan is never again allowed to become a safe haven for terrorist organizations.
