Beijing: India warns China that using force to change the status quo will not only harm peace in the border areas but may also result in wider bilateral relations and Beijing should stop its activities in eastern Ladakh. India’s ambassador to China, Vikram Misri, said in very straightforward words, “The only way to resolve the current military deadlock over LAC in East Ladakh is to let China accept that it is not the right way to forcefully change the status quo.”

The Indian Ambassador said that the activities of the Chinese military have greatly damaged the confidence in bilateral relations. He said that it is the responsibility of the Chinese side to look at the relationship carefully and set its direction. The Egyptian said that maintaining peace and tranquillity on the border is essential for the progress of bilateral relations between India and China.

China should stop obstructing petrol
He said, “From our point of view the solution to this issue is very simple. The Chinese side needs to stop disrupting the normal patrolling practices of Indian soldiers.” He also rejected China’s claim of sovereignty over the Galwan Valley in Ladakh as completely invalid and said that such exaggeration The claims made do not help the situation.

The ambassador said, “All the activities we do, we always do on our side of the Line of Actual Control, so the Chinese side should stop activities to change the status quo. It is very surprising that they are trying this way in a sector which has never been a matter of concern before. “

Describing India’s position on LAC determination in Galwan valley very clear, he said that our soldiers have been patrolling these areas for a long time without any difficulty.
